Each of the twelve segments of the annual circle represents a month (dark blue = January, to purple = December). A candle or e.g. a marble moves from week to week, for example, one hole at the end of each week. A suitable plug from the plug assortment (item no. 03050) can be inserted into the inner hole of each segment. The bowl can be filled with something typical of the month in question, a birthday present, a large candle or something else. A nice addition to the annual circle is the daily circle disk (03010). This allows children to visualize the circular course of a year, the sequence of the months and the sequence of the seasons.
