As the name suggests, this well-known card game is all about snatching the cards from the other players. 2-8 children or adults can play along, even more (the more, the louder and livelier the game becomes). There are 96 cards with 24 different pictures, i.e. always 4 cards with the same picture. The cards are shuffled and dealt out evenly. Each player places their cards face down in a pile in front of them. Together they count 1 - 2 - 3 and on the count of 3 everyone turns a card over to the middle so that all players can see all the cards. And so on. If the same picture can be seen one or more times after the cards have been turned over, you call out "Snap" as quickly as possible because the first person to do so receives all the piles with the same picture on top. He places the cards he has won under his face-down cards. If you call out "Schnapp" incorrectly, you must discard your face-up pile and move it to the middle. If a picture appears that is the same as the top picture in the middle, you must call "Schnipp" to be the first caller to receive this pile. In this case, wrong callers also place their pack in the middle. Incidentally, mistakes are also "Schnapp" instead of "Schnipp" and vice versa. If several players call at the same time, the game simply continues. Once the face-down piles have all been revealed, they are turned over again and the game continues. Whoever has no more cards may continue playing for "Schnipp" cards. Only when he has got some is he back in the game. The game is over when you want to stop or when a player has won all the cards.
